Benjalee has been in the Emergency/Healthcare world for over 24 years. She has been an animal lover and advocate since she was a little girl. Her critical care experience is an asset in helping sick and neglected rescues heal from the inside out. She is extremely proud of her family being so supportive and involved in loving and caring for all the precious rescues she's taken in over the years. 

​Benjalee started Anchor Your Heart to help save momma dogs and their litters: "It broke my heart seeing animal rescues pull litters of puppies from shelters but always leave Mom behind. How can you just discard Mom? Anchor Your Heart is about allowing Mom to nurse and care for her babies, giving Mom the TLC she needs and deserves, and then when the time is right, helping the puppies and Mom find forever homes with good, loving families."
